Life Enrichment
Life enrichment means making life meaningful and enjoyable. That’s what the Life Enchriment staff at Wheat State strive to do each day. They provide many group activities within the facility to keep people physically, mentally, and spiritually active. Exercise, bowling, bingo, daily devotions, and weekly Bible studies are just a few of the activities offered.
Life enrichment also goes beyond the group activities that are provided. Individual life enrichment goals and activities are also established based on individual preferences. These types of activities may include reading a good book, attending a community event at one of the churches or schools, playing basketball, or interacting with children from the local schools by sharing their knowledge of historical events with a new generation. At Wheat State Manor our Life Enrichment staff strive to discover what makes life meaningful to our residents and to make it possible for residents to actively participate in ways that matter!
